New supercar club with green credentials
Located minutes from Basingstoke, asset-sharing supercar venture Club Velocitá offers their members the opportunity to drive some of the world's most sought after supercars for an average of 45 days a year.
The club offers a fine collection representing the cream of automotive excellence, currently consisting of Lamborghini's Murciélago LP640 Roadster and Gallardo Spyder, the Ferrari F430 Spider F1, the Bentley Continental GTC, the Aston Martin V8 Vantage and the Porsche 911 Turbo Cabriolet Tiptronic.
Tiff Needell is Club Velocitá's first member and will be involved in 'test-driving' the club's collection of supercars as well as enjoying all the aspects of membership. "Membership of Club Velocitá looks like a great way to experience the joy of driving some of the World's greatest supercars without the stress and expense of owning your own," says Tiff. "Once you're a member it's simple - you take delivery of one of these amazing machines, have the thrill of driving it for a few days, then give it back. Next time you can chose another!"
Aside from the location Club Velocitá also offers a further hook in the form of its environmental outlook. As with all asset-sharing car clubs, the resultant car sharing is one environmental benefit- but Club Velocitá are going the extra mile and have chosen to contribute to Pure, the Clean Planet Trust. Over the year Club Velocitá will monitor their cars' mileage against fuel consumption and will contribute proportionately to Pure.
