Carrara launches fractional homes in Tuscany

Carrara Casi di Sotti fractional homesCarrara, LLC has announced the launch of Casi di Sotto, the first in a portfolio of luxury fractional ownership homes in Italy. The company says it chose Casi di Sotto, in Tuscany, after a long search for a suitable property, because of its “sensitive restoration, luxurious interior and stunning location”.

"There was immediate synergy between our vision and the loving restoration that had been performed by the sellers," says Deborah Lyon, president and founder of Carrara. "Common ground and shared passion are very important, since we engage with both sellers and buyers over the long term. It all came together in this one."

Carrara works with those selling homes to create a fractional offering aimed at the American market. It invests in each home, undertaking improvements such as landscaping, a pool, new furnishings and other interior design details. “Today, clients want more service and more value. Investing creates a relationship with our sellers that eases their minds, knowing that we are in the project together. Sellers often retain one or more shares rather than selling outright. Our continued involvement reassures buyers and ensures credible, consistent quality of each home," says Lyon.

Casi di Sotto's fractional interests will be sold by Peter G. Clark, principal broker at Keller Williams Realty in Portland, Oregon.
