Fractional Summit USA a resounding success
Leading fractional ownership brand Fractional Life is delighted to announce that its first US fractional real estate conference, Fractional Summit USA, which was held at the InterContinental Miami on August 31 and September 1st, was a resounding success.
More than 170 delegates from the US, the Caribbean, Latin America and Europe enjoyed a comprehensive seminar programme and some highly enjoyable – and effective – networking sessions.
The seminar programme saw a host of top industry professionals sharing their knowledge and experience. Day one comprised of the Fractional 101 sessions – a comprehensive guide to the fundamentals of fractional development, including talks on definition, feasibility, finance, legals, sales and marketing, usage programmes, exchange and rentals.
Day two touched on rentals, exchange and rental programmes, destination clubs and marketing among others. It also included an industry first – a buyers' panel, allowing delegates to interact with buyers of fractional real estate and destination club members.
Other highlights included a “speed dating” business card swap and a rum tasting courtesy of Zacapa.
Fractional Life founder Piers Brown said: “We are delighted with the success of our first US conference, and would like to thank all our delegates, sponsors and speakers for making it happen. The feedback we have received has been overwhelmingly positive, and we have already had companies who adopted a “wait and see” approach to this year's conference wanting to sponsor next year's.”

To be sure, we weren't really expecting much given that the fact that it was the first. We were amazed at how incredibly good it was for our business. It exceeded our expectations by a mile. And the buzz surrounding the event has prompted Carl Berry, CEO of Star Resort Group, who didn’t attend the conference due to other commitments, to say: “The postings on your conference are just great. You have secured the USA east coast as your venue. Please count Star in next year as a sponsor.”
