Fractional Ownership News
India fractional properties in the pipeline
Mahindra Holidays & Resorts, one of the biggest players in India’s tourism market, is set to launch fractional ownership resorts.
Speaking to CNBC about the company’s plans, chaiman Arun Nanda said: “We are also looking at a fractional product which will be a property ownership product, this is for the really high end customer and the rich and famous who have the desire to have a second home but not the time to build on and maintain. That’s the product we are coming out with and so these are things which give me a high. I am quite optimistic about the growth of the company.”
Mahindra Holidays & Resorts is part of the US$ 6.7 billion Mahindra Group, one of India’s leading conglomerates. The group has interests in various sectors including automotive, auto components, farm equipment, trade & financial services, infrastructure and information technology.
Formed in 1996, Club Mahindra Holidays has a customer base of more than 79,000 members and 23 resorts in India and further afield.
