Oceanico Opens Fractional Show Home In The US

Developer Oceanico has unveiled the show home at Little River in North Carolina – one of the resorts in its Prestige Residence Club.

Aimed very much at the golfing community, Little River is situated in Carthage, near the famous Pinehurst course, in the heart of what the developer calls “the golfing heartland of North Carolina”.

The resort is set on a 630-acre site and includes a Dan Maple-designed 18-hole championship golf course, clubhouse and accommodation. The properties, which include two- and three-bedroom condominiums and three- and four-bedroom villas, are built alongside the golf course. The new show home is a four-bedroom villa overlooking the 9th hole.

The Oceanico Prestige Residence Club currently includes resorts in Portugal, the US, Ireland and Canada, with more planned for South Africa, Portugal and the US.
Members who buy a 1/8th share in any of the resorts can exchange some of their fraction for time in any of the other resorts. Other benefits include, dependent on location, use of a Sunseeker luxury cruiser, membership of golf courses, executive car transfer service and concierge service.
Oceanico says it has developed a flexible solution which means that rather than owners having clear and fixed dates when they are able to use their property, they are provided with a combination of pre-planned occupancy and unlimited space available occupancy, effectively meaning that owners have unlimited use of a property at their “home club”, based on reservation policies and availability.

Prices at Little River are US$40,000 per 1/8th share for a two-bedroom villa, $70,000 per share for a three-bedroom condo, $110,000 per share for a three-bedroom apartment and $150,000 per share for a four-bedroom villa.
