Post Expo round-up

The 3-day Oceanico Group Fractional Life Expo 2008 drew to a close on Wednesday 30^th April.  Despite some rather inclement weather for the last two days the event was a success- drawing a large amount of footfall from the surrounding Broadgate offices alongside those who had specifically made the trip from far and wide.  The Expo acted as an introduction to fractional ownership for many as well as a chance for already interested parties to discuss possible opportunities with the wealth of exhibitors.

Throughout the three days there were a multitude of operators offering fractional opportunities- from the headline sponsors of Oceanico Group and Foreign Property Ventures with their property schemes through to boats and yachts from Boat Associates and RIB Shack Marine and the shiny supercar offerings of Club Velocita, ecurie25 and Marque II and many others all the way through to the fractional music based Slicethepie.com.  If you did not make it to the Expo a full list of exhibitors is available here.

In keeping with luxury theme of the show there were also golf stands from Nevada Bob’s and Taylormade on which one could try out the latest Taylormade products thanks to a golf simulator and putting green. During lunchtime visitors were treated to the music of some Slicethepie.com’s rising stars.

The event was hosted across the three days by Chelsey Baker who interviewed exhibitors in the Broadgate Circle in between tending to our special guests including Tiff Needell and Simon Khan.  Fifth Gear’s Tiff got proceedings off to a start on Monday by discussing his interest in fractional supercars as well as giving us some insight into his television and motoring career.  Simon followed this on Tuesday by talking through his golfing career before heading over to the golf simulator to impart his playing tips to the thronging masses.

The event was also filmed for Real Estate TV for an upcoming television show- we will announce details of scheduling when it is available.
